About

Regina Mailloux is an artist whose work explores quiet symbolism, folklore, and the emotional undercurrents of the natural world. Working primarily in oil, she creates evocative, story-driven paintings that blend female allegory, woodland imagery, and mythic atmosphere.

Her work often centers on moments that feel suspended in time, where beauty carries unease and narrative is implied rather than explained. Drawing inspiration from folklore, classic storytelling, and the rhythms of nature, Mailloux uses recurring symbols such as animals, moons, and forests as a visual language for memory, instinct, and transformation.

Each painting is created with an emphasis on mood, texture, and contemplation. Her work is collected by those drawn to intimate, poetic imagery that invites personal interpretation.
